The Remodeling has Begun

We started our remodel (besides painting a few things) by tearing out the wall between the dining room and living room. It makes our house feel so much more open.

Preschool Graduation and Other Random Happenings

Katelyn had another fun year of playing soccer. I have so much fun watching the games that I forget to take pictures. But here's Katelyn after one of her games. She has one game left so I better make sure to take some pictures this game.

Happy birthday to my Mommy! We got to celebrate her birthday at our house on Memorial Day. We got everything all set up to have a nice barbeque outside, but right before it was time to eat we had a downpour so had to move the party into our little house.
I love when my kids play happily together!! That's one nice thing of not living in a neighborhood...they play together more.
We have loved Kenzi's pre-school teacher, Mrs. Anderson! Congratulations, Kenzi... heading on to kindergarten now. (I really wish my kids would stop growing up.)

New Kitties

Our cat had kittens two weeks ago. These pictures are when they are only a couple hours old. (Sorry, there's a little bit of gruesomeness going on in their little house.) And that's their mommy. Kyler loves my paper cutter.

Bre's Birthday, Easter, Papa, Disneyland

So, lots of random things to report: Nate's sister, Bre, turned 17 years old! Had a fun family surprise party for her. Wonderful Easter with my mom and dad. Nate was working. My mom made us a yummy dinner, the kids went on an Easter egg hunt, then Nikosha taught us a lesson on the Christ's life and resurrection. Just a perfect Easter. The day after Easter Papa went into the hospital and we found out he had a perforated bowel and he wasn't a candidate for surgery. We had 3 days left to give our love to Papa in this life. (I was so glad for the opportunity to reflect on the resurrection that Sunday before and be reminded that we will all be resurrected and be together again.) What a wonderful man he was! I am so grateful he was able to come live in Idaho for the last year and a half of his life. We will miss him so much, but we also know he has gone to be with Booma and they are in a happier place. We left for Disneyland the following Saturday. Took a lot more pictures, but haven't had time to go through them all yet, so this is all you get for now. We went with Nate's brother, Roman, his wife, Roberta, and their 3 kids. We had a blast!!!
