Kenzi turned 6 years old!! She got this new bike for her birthday that fits her perfectly. She is 100% girly-girl. She loves to wear dresses and skirts and pose for pictures. I have about 30 more pictures that I decided not to post:) She got to go to Blast-off with her friend, Lucy, and then have 2 more friends over to our house to make s'mores. The next day she had all of her grandmas and grandpas and some of her aunts, uncles, and cousins over to celebrate.
Kyler was just posing with the girls on their first day, but this is Kyler's real first day of school. He's such a silly boy when I'm taking his picture. One picture is with his cousin, Maci, and the other is with his sister, Kenzi.
These pictures didn't turn out very well from the rollerskating rink, but this was a time to remember because we had soooo much fun with this family activity. There were only 2 other people for about an hour at the rink and the rest of the time we had the place to ourselves. Nate really was skating with the rest of us but I just got a picture of him taking a break. Such a fun activity!!
I can't believe all my kids are in school this year: Nikosha 5th grade, Katelyn 2nd grade, Kenzi kindergarten, and Kyler pre-school. I got a picture with Kenzi and Katelyn both with their BFF's the first day of school. Katelyn and her friend had this matching outfit picked out about a month before school started. How lucky for both of them to be in the same class as their friends.
We don't get to go to very many football games, but we got to see our nephew, Grant, play a couple of times. I love the intense look on his face when he makes this tackle. That is a great photo (courtesy of my mom)!!
Hot day in Idaho Falls called for a quick trip to the river to play in the sand by the boat dock. They had a blast burying each other in the sand. Kyler was a little stinker putting sand in Kenzi's mouth when she couldn't do anything about it.
I finally got Katelyn's baptism invitations ready to order but I didn't have a picture of her. It was already late enough to get them ordered so I just took pictures of her one day right before school...we're talking just got out of the shower, wet hair look. Since I'm not a photographer by any means and I have absolutely no skills when it comes to "editing" pictures, what ya see is what ya get. Good thing she was just so darn cute!!
What a fun time we had in Arizona. We got together with family to celebrate the life of my grandparents: Larry and Carol Yule. What wonderful people and what a wonderful legacy and posterity they left!
We had to say goodbye to my sister, Jenny's family. They will be living in England for the next 3 years. It was very bittersweet. It will be such a wonderful, new experience for them, but we are very sad they are going to be so far away. Jenny's husband, Blake, is a dentist for the Air Force and that's where they are stationed.
