Happy Birthday Kenzi

Kenzi turned 4 years old on her birthday. We had a lot going on that day. First, she got to go on a field trip with her pre-school class. We went to a potato field where we got to see how the potatoes are picked and moved and everything. (It was very interesting and I learned a lot.) They loved climbing up into this huge tractor. The man giving us the tour took them all for a ride and even let Kenzi sit on his lap and help steer since she was the birthday girl.
This is Kenzi handing out her treats after her field trip: For her birthday these are the two things she wanted: to go swimming and have a cake with oreos and cherries. So she had a couple of neighbor kids over and her two cousins and they ran around in their swimming suits and jumped in the little wading pools every once in awhile (that classifies as swimming, right?). And this was my "creative" oreos and cherries cake.

Poor Travis has a broken leg so he didn't get to play much!

Then a couple of days later we had all of her Idaho family over for cake and ice-cream. We're starting to be a very big bunch, but I think it made Kenzi feel pretty special.

Our little Hannah Montana!

Happy Birthday, Kenzi! We love you!

Kyler's Surgery

My poor baby boy had to have surgery. My aunt put it very well...he had to have his "plumbing" fixed. The technical name for it is "hypospadius repair". They told me it was going to be an easy sugery. Well, if that was an easy surgery then I NEVER want to have a hard one. It was awful! These are pictures of my cute, happy boy that went into surgery: And this is how they brought him back to me: He cried and cried when he woke up and with his i.v. hooked up to him it was hard to hold him and very hard to take care of him. But he's all better now and here's him a couple of days later: (He's now discovered his belly button. What a fun age!!)

Kenzi's Song

I think this is so cute of Kenzi. She told me one day that she could sing "I Love to See the Temple" so I decided to record her. She did pretty good for a 3 year-old:
